Mrs. Charles Cole

Mrs. Charles W. (Virginia) Cole, 235 N. First St., DeKalb, died Thrusday, Dec 29, 1966, at the DeKalb Public Hospital.

          Born Feb.4, 1906 in Oregon, Ill., to John and Stella Reed Krueger, she married Charles Cole in Geneva on Aug. 22, 1922.  A housewife, she was a member of the Congregational Church and past president of the Lady Elks. 

          Preceded by her parents, two sisters, Helen and Stella, she is survived by her husband; two sons Charles Jr., Detroit, Mich., and John of Elgin; three grandchildren; one brother John Krueger of Corpus Christi, Tex,; three sisters, Mrs. Minnie Oed of Flint, Mich., Mrs. Dorothy Southard, Napa, Calif., and Mrs. Henrietta Bennett of Sycamore; and several nieces and nephews.

          Funeral Services will be held at the Wirtz-Roche Funeral Home at 1:30 p.m. Sunday by Rev. Lester E. Smith. Burial will be in the Mausoleum in Fairview Cemetrey.

          Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 until 4 pm and again from 7 until 9 p.m. Saturday.

De Kalb – Mrs. Virginia Cole, 60, 235 N. 1st St., died Thursday in DeKalb Public Hospital.

          Survivors are her husband, Charles; two sons, Charles Jr., Detroit, and John, Elgin; three grandchildren; a brother; and three sisters, including Mrs. Henrietta Bennett, Sycamore.

          Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in Wirtz-Roche Funeral Home, where friends may call Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
