Will of Mary Cushen

 

I, Mary Cushen, of the City of Waverly, in the County of Morgan, in the State of Illinois and being of Sound mind and memory, do make publish and declare this to be my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made.

 

First, I direct that all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid.

 

Second, I direct that the homested where I now reside be equally divided between my children, Michael Cushen, James Cushen, and Hannah Romang.  The remainder of my real estate, I will shall be equally divided between my sons Michael and James Cushen.  All of my real Estate being situated and lying in Waverly, in Morgan County, Illinois.

 

Third, I give and bequeath all the furniture in my house equally to my three children Michael Cushen, James Cushen and Hannah Romang.

 

Fourth, I will and bequeath all moneys which may be left after the payment of my just debts and funeral expenses to my sons Michael Cushen and James Cushen, to be equally divided between them, and I hereby appoint my sons Michael Cushen Executor of this my last will and testament without bond.

 

In witness whereof I have hereunto let my hand and seal this the tenth day of October AD 1901.

The above and foregoing instrument consisting of one sheet of legal cap paper, was at the date then of signed, sealed, published and declared by said Mary Cushen, as and for her last will and testament, in presence of us, who at her request and in her presence, and the presence of each other, have subscribed our names as witnesses then to.
