A.     Seth BARDEN was born on 6 May 1823 at Johnstown, Greenville Co., Ontario, Canada.  Seth reported for active duty circa 1842.  He married Ann COLARD, daughter of James COLARD, on 14 Mar 1843 at Morristown, NY.  A census listed Seth as head of household at Elizabethtown Township, Brockville, Leeds Co., Ontario, Canada, in 1851.  He had church membership before 1863 at Wesleyan Methodist Church of Canada, Canada. Seth was listed as a member of a church at First Methodist Episcopal Church, Oregon, Ogle Co., IL, after 1863.  He emigrated with James A. BARDEN in Oct 1863 at Ogle Co., IL.  Seth was listed as the head of a family on the 1870 Census at Pine Rock, Ogle Co., IL.  Seth was listed as the head of a family on the 1880 Census at Pine Rock, Ogle Co., IL. b)     Effie Florence CRUM.  Her married name was HOGUE.  She married John Charles HOGUE.  She was born on 2 Jan 1873.  She died on 29 Nov 1951 at age 78.

c)     Hattie M. CRUM married George W. HOGUE.  She was born on 27 Oct 1876.  She died on 1 May 1940 at age 63.

d)     William (Willie) CRUM.  William's occupation: Farmer.  He was a student. School: an unknown place detail.  He was buried at Jamestown, Cloud, Kansas.  He was born on 10 Jul 1880.  He married Lulu May KEY, daughter of John Ewing KEY and Laura Carry (Carrie)CABLES, on 29 Aug 1906 at ???  He died on 5 Jul 1929 at Glasco, Cloud, Kansas, at age 48.

e)     Lucina (Lusina) CRUM married Fred Elmar COPPER.  She was born on 1 Aug 1885.  She died on 7 Jan 1979 at age 93.

2)     Susanne (Susan) BARDEN was born on 9 Sep 1851 at Brockville, Leeds Co., Ontario, CN.  She married Aaron REED, son of Charles Aaron REED and Elizabeth (--?--), on 6 May 1868 at Oregon, Ogle, Illinois. Susanne was listed as Aaron REED's wife on the 1880 Census at Pine Rock, Ogle Co., IL.  Susanne was listed as Aaron REED's wife on the 1900 Census at Oregon, Ogle Co., IL.  Susanne was listed as a mother in George Lee REED's household on the 1920 Census at Oregon, Ogle Co., IL.  He and Harriett WALSH were Census1930 on 22 Apr 1930 at 4 Precinct, Rockford, Winnebago Co., IL.  She died on 13 Jul 1933 at 208 S.
